Helping people of all ages and abilities to develop health in spirit, mind and body is at the core of the YMCA movement. Our programs are designed to help people create realistic goals for self improvement through regular exercise, proper nutrition, stress management and health education. Participation in our fitness programs means opportunities for friendships, a sense of well-being, self-confidence, and improved mental abilities and cognition — plus the benefits of healthy hearts, lungs, bones and muscles.
There are many ways to get involved – including group exercise classes, working out in the Fitness Center or Freestyle Fitness Zone and working with a personal trainer individually or in small groups. Choose from several supportive programs to help you on your journey towards better health. Click here to view current classes in our program guide.
Our staff will instruct you on proper use of the equipment and facility. An orientation for both the cardiovascular and resistance equipment is included with your membership and is strongly encouraged. Please stop by the Wellness Center to make an appointment.
Open to ages 15+
Fitness Center hours are the same as facility hours:
Monday – Friday: 5:30am – 10:00pm
Saturday: 7:00am – 6:30pm
Sunday: 8:00am – 6:30pm
The Freestyle Fitness Zone is located on the first floor of the Y, next to the racquetball court. The Zone is a specially designed place to practice “functional” exercise techniques that integrate core, balance, flexibility and strength training. The equipment in the Zone is designed to get the whole body moving and to encourage family and group workouts. The equipment includes TRX suspension trainers, 40 foot ropes, kettlebells and Expresso bikes.
The Zone is open for teens ages 11 and up (and in at least the 6th grade). There is always staff monitoring the Zone use. Zone hours are the same as facility hours.
