Starting March 2, children ages 5 to 10 can be dropped off for one hour on Wednesdays between 4:30 and 6:30 pm.
This is a great opportunity for your child/children to have FUN in the ExerZone, under the supervision of our Family Activity Leaders. At the same time, enjoy your own physical activity, or watch your other children taking swim lessons or a sports class. Children under the age of 5 can enjoy playtime in Child Watch. Hug a Heart: Tuesday, February 16, 10:30 am – 12:00 p.m. Come together to create cozy heart pillows for recovering open-heart surgery patients at White Plains Hospital. $5 material fee.
Know your Numbers – Blood Pressure Screenings: In addition to our regular weekly (Mondays from 9:30 – 11:00 a.m.) blood pressure screenings, Greenwich Hospital will be at the Rye Y on Tuesday, February 9 from 4:30 – 6:00 pm and Saturday, February 27 from 9:30 – 11:00 am.

Candlelight Meditation with Nora: Wednesday, February 24, 7:15 – 8:30 pm (Child Care Room) Learn the benefits of meditation and discover how easy and accessible it is. The class is designed for beginners or for those who want to deepen their practice of meditation. Learn a variety of meditation techniques and finish with a guided relaxation.
Heart Health discussion: Wednesday, February 24, 7 pm. Join Dr. Ellozy and Dr. Lithgow for an interactive discussion on cardiovascular health. Our panel will begin with a short presentation of cardiovascular disease as the leading cause of death in the US, review one community member’s case presentation and finish with a question and answer session, Click here for more details.
