Rye Y Gymnasts Continue to Bring Home Awards
RYE, NY (February 26, 2010) The Rye YMCA gymnastics team competed successfully against seven other YMCAs at the 
2010 Kristen Warner Invitational on February 13 in Southington, Connecticut. The team is now preparing for the 2010 Southern League Championships.
Level 4 placed 5th place as a team.
6-7 age division:
Caitlyn Walsh placed 1st all around with a 9.25 on bars, 9.05 on floor, 8.8 on beam, 8.7 on vault.
Jessica Graham placed 4th all around with 8.1 on vault, 7.8 on beam, and 7.4 on floor.
8 year old division:
Ilana Serin placed 8th all around with 8.3 on vault, 7.8 on bars, 7.3 on beam, 7.1 on floor.
10 year age division:
Chloe Henderson placed 2nd all around with a 9.2 on bars, 9.1 on vault, 8.7 on beam, 8.15 on floor.
Alex Meyer scored 8.85 on bars, 8.4 on vault, 8.1 on floor, 8.0 on beam.
Jenny Kim scored 9.0 on vault, 8.2 on beam, 8.1 on floor, 8.0 on bars.
Lily Donohue scored 9.05 on bars, 8.5 on vault, 7.9 on beam, 7.55 on floor.
Shannon Keane scored 8.8 on bars, 8.45 on vault, 7.8 on beam, 7.8 on floor.
Emily Sanges scored 8.75 on vault, 7.7 on bars, 7.65 on floor.
11 year old division:
Maggie Semprevivo placed 8th all around with 8.7 on bars, 8.55 on vault, 8.1 on beam, 7.6 on floor.
12 year old division:
Kimberley Ramos placed 4th all around with 8.5 on vault, 8.4 on beam, 8.3 on floor, 8.2 on bars.
Level 5 placed 4th as a team:
11 year old division:
Debbie Musselman placed 5th all around with 8.8 on bars, 8.6 on floor, 8.55 on beam, 8.4 on vault.
Colleen DeConcini scored 8.6 on vault, 8.6 on beam, 8.35 on floor, 7.5 on floor.
Lyndsey Will scored 8.65 on vault, 8.5 on floor, 8.0 on bars, 7.0 on beam.
12 year old division:
Miffy Riley placed 1st all around with 9.3 on vault, 9.1 on beam, 9.0 on floor, 8.8 on bars.
Ellie Garland placed 5th all around with 9.1 on bars, 8.85 on vault, 8.5 on floor, 7.6 on beam.

Chloe Schettino placed 6th all around with 8.55 on vault, 8.3 on bars, 8.2 on floor.

Future and current gymnasts can register online for the Gymnastics March/April Vacation Camp, March 29 to April 2. The camp, for ages 5-11, runs from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm and includes gymnastic skills, drills, tumbling, open workouts and the opportunity to swim each day. Summer gymnastic camp registration has also started at the Member Services Desk, 21 Locust Avenue, Rye, New York.
