Pool Rules General Rules: - Street shoes are not permitted on the pool deck.
- Bathing caps must be worn by anyone with hair failing below ears, touching collar, four inches or longer (excluding SKI and PERCH classes). Bathing caps are sold at our front desk.
- Parents are not allowed on the deck during swim instruction. Children will be escorted by their instructor when entering and exiting the pool area.
- Diapers are not permitted in the pool. Please use special swimming diapers only, which are available for purchase at our front desk.
- No food, gum or beverages (except plastic water bottles) are allowed on the pool deck.
- Diving from any part of the pool is strictly prohibited.
Lap Swim: - Age 16 and older only.
- No children allowed on deck during adult lap swim.
- Extended Adult Lap Swim may be available on Friday, Saturday and Sunday when there is no party rental scheduled. During these times, Youth Members (age 12 and up) capable of swimming laps without interfering with adult swimmers are invited. Check bulletin boards for updated announcements.
- Lap swimming is performed in a counter-clockwise circle. (The lane line should always be to your right.) Please stay close to the lane line to avoid hitting others.
- Chose the proper lane (Fast, Medium, and Slow). Take a few minutes to observe the swimmers to gauge which lane is best for you. Lifeguards will move swimmers as needed. In shared lanes no butterfly stroke or adapted stroke which may affect the safety of other swimmers is permitted. When a faster swimmer needs to pass, the slower swimmer should stop at the wall and allow the swimmer to pass.
Family Swim:- Equipment, such as kick boards and noodles, will be available. No flotation devices will be allowed. Bubbles will not be supplied, however you are welcome to bring your own. For your convenience, bubbles are sold at our front desk.
- All children, ages 12 and under, must be accompanied by an adult. For children 6 and under, the adult is required to accompany them in the water. For children 7 to 12, the adult may swim with the child or must stay in the lobby to observe.
- A parent/guardian must be in the water with non-swimming children. A maximum ratio of I adult to 2 non-swimming children will be enforced. Children wearing bubbles are not allowed in the deep end unless accompanied by a swimming adult (ratio of one adult to one child).
- A deep water test is required for all children who want to swim in the deep end.
- No balls or throwing of any objects.
