The Rye Y frequently invites guest speakers to discuss nutrition related topics. Check the calendar for upcoming events.
We also offer the programs below which include a focus on nutrition:
READY, SET, GO FIT - GOAL ORIENTED FITNESS
Features:
• 1:1 counseling session to help participants establish their goal
prior to the start of the program
• Participants will receive a copy of the book, “Food Rules” by
Michael Pollan and a Ready, Set GO FIT! T-shirt
• 12 meetings focused on group support, education (topics on
leading a healthy lifestyle) and participating in a short yet effective
group workout
• Weekly email blasts with workout ideas and nutrition tips
• Anyone who attends the first four meetings will receive a free
personal training session to be used anytime during the 12-week
program.

For those members 18+ who want to experience real change,
these nutrition counseling-combined-with fitness coaching options
are offered:

treasured fitness goals? Come and learn how to eat healthy with a
certified sports nutrition specialist. Meal plan provided.
