The Rye YMCA is a philanthropic charitable
organization, providing services for children and families
regardless of age, race, religion and economic circumstances. The YMCA's charitable focus is made possible through the support of donors and fundraising events as well
as the work of volunteers throughout the course of the year.
Annual Giving Campaign
The Y strives to serve everyone
regardless of economic circumstances.
For this reason, our philosophy is to
provide financial support to those
who would otherwise not be able
to participate at the Y. Last year, our
Strong Kids donations totaled over
$508,000 providing much needed
financial assistance to deserving kids,
teens and families.
The Heritage Club
The purpose and mission of the
Heritage Club is to ensure that the
good work of the YMCA is able to
continue into the future. Planned
giving to the Y's Harry P. Broom
Endowment Fund benefits you
today and generations to come.
Special Events
In addition to raising much needed
funds, special events such as the
Rye Derby and March Madness allow
individuals and families to join
together in celebration of community
and the mission of the YMCA.
Volunteers
Volunteers form the backbone of
much that we do at the Y. Many
programs simply would not be
possible without their time and
dedication. Volunteer opportunities
at the Y are as diverse as the
members we serve and we
welcome all levels of skill and
experience.
